  1. INSTALLING QUICKTIME 2.0

  3. To install QuickTime:
  4.  
  5. 1. Open your System Folder. Double click the Extensions folder icon inside the System Folder. Drag the existing QuickTime™ extension to the Trash. Close the Extensions folder and close the System Folder.

  7. 2.    Drag the QuickTime™ icon and QuickTime™ Musical Instruments icon from the QuickTime disk to your System Folder icon (not into the open folder).

  9. 3.    Click OK in the dialog box that appears.

  11. 4.    If you are using a Power Macintosh, drag the QuickTime PowerPlug file from the QuickTime disk to your System Folder icon (not into the open folder).

  13. 5.    Restart your Macintosh.
